This power bar arm trainer helps build upper-body strength by providing heavy resistance as you bend or compress the bar. It primarily targets your chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, and forearms.
1. Mid-Chest
Hold the trainer with both hands in front of your chest, keeping your arms parallel to the floor. Bend or squeeze the handles inward to bring the center of the bar toward your chest.
2. Upper Chest
Hold the trainer at eye level, angled slightly upward. Squeeze the handles inward and downward toward your collarbone.
3. Lower Chest
Hold the trainer at chest level, but point the apex of the bar down toward your stomach at a 45-degree angle. Squeeze the handles inward and downward.
4. Biceps
Stand straight and hold the handles with your palms facing up (underhand grip). Press your elbows against your ribs, and curl the bar upward and inward, flexing your biceps as the tension increases.
